In addition to the vintage technology & e-waste dressing the space, two installations brought together the experience of distorted information and surveillance.

Dual Projection Doorway
Using one of the main archways towards the bathrooms, we created a projection space that would reveal information depending on your location. This was a very simple but effective implementation, of two overlapping projectors, displaying two types of content. One projector outputting random noise static from an OpenFrameworks sketch. While the other, consisted of text from burned & banned books. With the colour calibrated just so, when passing through the archway guests would reveal different elements of the text, by blocking the projectors output.
CCTV Selfie Wall
Consisting of 18 various Vintage TVs and 8 networked surveillance cameras, this tv stack installation served as a backdrop for photos. The TVs displayed various media, from stock footage, clips from the film to live feeds pulled from cameras hidden throughout the space. A simple Openframeworks application running on a Mac mini, connected to a PoE networked switch, pulled in all the various camera feeds and stitched them together with different effects.
